Pre-Operation Preparation And Inspection
Only trained and authorized personnel may operate the machine. Before use, check power connections, cooling system, gas supply, safety interlocks, and emergency stop functions. Verify that protective lenses are clean and intact, and wear certified laser safety goggles, heat‑resistant gloves, and non‑flammable clothing. Clear the work area of flammables and ensure adequate ventilation. Confirm welding parameters match material and thickness requirements to avoid abnormal operation.
Safe Operating Procedures
During operation, never look directly at the laser beam or point the welding head at people. Keep hands and body away from the laser path and molten metal. Activate shielding gas to prevent oxidation and fume hazards. Follow programmed sequences; do not modify parameters without approval. Press the emergency stop immediately in case of abnormal noise, overheating, or gas leakage. Do not leave the machine unattended while powered on.
Post-Operation Maintenance And Safety
After welding, turn off the laser, cooling system, and power in order. Clean the welding head, lenses, and workbench; remove spatter and debris. Inspect cables, hoses, and safety devices for damage. Record operation time, parameters, and faults. Store the machine in a dry, dust‑free environment. Report any malfunction promptly and do not disassemble the equipment without permission. Strict compliance with these rules ensures personnel safety, stable welding quality, and extended service life of the fiber laser welding machine.
