I. Startup Preparation.
Inspect the equipment for external damage and ensure the cable ion is intact. Verify that the grounding device is secure and reliable, with a grounding resistance of no more than 4Ω. Confirm that the cooling water tank level is within the speed scale; add distilled water or dedicated coolant. Check that the circulation water pipes are free from blockages and leaks, start the cooling pump, and confirm that the water flow and temperature display are normal. Wear flame-retardant work clothes, insulating gloves, protective shoes, and a welding mask. Clear flammable and explosive materials within a 10-meter work area and ensure good ventilation.
II. Operation Procedure.
Power on the equipment in the sequence of "Main Power—Cooling System—Welding Machine." Run the loaded for 1-2 minutes to check for abnormal noises or overheating. Adjust parameters such as welding current and voltage according to the base material type and thickness, and select matching consumables. During welding, maintain an appropriate angle between the welding gun and the work piece, keep the welding speed uniform, closely monitor the equipment load rate and cooling system status, and welding without water flow.
III. Shutdown and Maintenance.
After welding is complete, turn off the welding machine first, allow the cooling system to continue running, then shut off the cooling pump and the main power. Clean up welding slag and electrode stubs, and wipe dust from the equipment surface. Regularly inspect the cooling water replace the coolant every 3 months and clean the filter screen monthly. Check cable connections and replace aging parts in a timely manner; non-professionals are strictly prohibited from equipment.
IV. Safety Precautions.
Avoid touching hot work pieces and welding guns during operation; do not adjust parameters while the equipment is powered on. If the equipment exhibits such as overheating or water leakage, stop the machine immediately and cut off the power. Outdoor work is prohibited during rain; when working in damp areas, stand on mat to ensure operational safety.
