Continuous Fiber Laser

Continuous wave (CW) fiber lasers are the most widely used source in industrial fiber laser welding machines. They operate at a standard wavelength of 1064 nm and provide stable, long-duration laser output with power ranging from 500 W to 60 kW. Featuring high beam quality, high energy conversion efficiency, and flexible transmission through optical fibers, CW lasers are ideal for deep penetration welding, seam welding, and mass production applications. They are extensively applied in automotive manufacturing, metal fabrication, and battery shell sealing, delivering smooth welds with strong structural integrity.

QCW And Pulsed Fiber Lasers

Quasi-continuous wave (QCW) and pulsed fiber lasers serve precision welding scenarios. QCW lasers combine the advantages of continuous and pulsed modes, enabling adjustable pulse width and peak power to control heat input effectively. Pulsed fiber lasers feature short pulse duration and low average power, minimizing thermal deformation and material damage. Both types are commonly used in 3C electronics, medical devices, battery tabs, and mold repair, where high precision and low splash are required.

Specialized Fiber Lasers

Advanced fiber laser welding machines also adopt specialized lasers for challenging materials. Ring-shaped beam lasers effectively reduce spatter and porosity when welding aluminum alloys and galvanized sheets. Blue and green fiber lasers significantly improve absorption for highly reflective materials such as copper and gold, ensuring stable welding quality. These lasers expand the application range of fiber laser welding machines and enhance performance in new energy and precision manufacturing fields.
