A welding machine is the core equipment for achieving metal connection in industrial production. Its core principle is to convert electrical energy into thermal energy, melt the metal base material and filler material at high temperature, and form a firm weld seam after cooling to realize the integrated connection of work pieces. It is widely used in many fields such as construction, automobile, shipbuilding, and pipelines.

There are mainly three types of mainstream welding machines on the market, adapting to different scenario needs. The manual arc welding machine is portable and flexible, does not require complex auxiliary equipment, is suitable for single-piece small-batch production and on-site emergency repair, and is the most basic and widely used model; the gas shielded welding machine isolates air through inert or active gas, reduces weld oxidation, has higher weld quality, and is suitable for welding automobile bodies and precision structural parts; the laser welding machine, with the advantages of high energy and high precision, is suitable for welding thin-walled materials and precision parts, and no additional treatment is needed after welding.

There are two key points to note when using a welding machine: first, parameter matching. The current and voltage need to be adjusted according to the material and thickness of the base metal to avoid problems such as incomplete penetration and excessively wide weld seams; second, safe operation. Flame-retardant welding clothing, insulating gloves and welding masks must be worn, the operation area should be away from flammable and explosive materials, and ventilation protection should be done well to prevent arc burns and gas poisoning.

With the development of technology, inverter welding machines have gradually replaced traditional models. They are small in size, high in efficiency and precise in control, which can better meet the high-efficiency and high-quality welding needs of modern industry. When choosing, you can comprehensively consider your own process needs, environmental conditions and budget.
