To extend the service life of the air-cooled welding machine, ensure welding quality, and safety, this maintenance guide has been formulated based on its core air-cooling characteristics. The guide is simple and easy to follow, catering to daily operation and maintenance needs.
Daily Maintenance (Before and After Each Operation):
Before operation, inspect the equipment's exterior to confirm that the casing is undamaged, cables are securely connected, and there is no looseness on solution peeling. Clean dust from the heat sink fins and fan filters to prevent dust accumulation from affecting cooling efficiency; use a dry soft brush or compressed air to gently blow them c taking care not to damage the cooling components. Check the welding gun nozzle and contact tip, remove weld spatter and debris, and replace them promptly if wear is detected to ensure smooth e feeding.
Periodic Maintenance (Monthly/Quarterly):
Conduct a comprehensive cleaning of internal dust accumulation monthly, focusing on core components such as the transformer and power semiconductors to ventilation. Check the cooling fan operation to confirm there is no abnormal noise or vibration; if jamming or unusual sounds occur, inspect or replace the fan immediately. Inspect electrical quarterly, tighten loose screws, remove rust from connection points, and ensure good electrical contact.
Precautions: The equipment must be placed in a clean, ventilated environment away find vibration sources, with ambient temperature controlled between 10-32°C and humidity below 85%. Avoid prolonged full-load operation; allow the machine to cool down breaks to protect the air-cooling system. During maintenance, disconnect the main power supply, wait for capacitors to fully discharge, and wear protective gear such as non-professionals must not disassemble core components. Strictly following this guide will significantly reduce equipment failure rates and improve operational.
