Nitrogen generator is an industrial equipment that extracts high-purity nitrogen from clean compressed air through physical separation technology. It is an indispensable gas supply device for chemical industry, electronics, food & pharmaceutical, laser cutting, metallurgy, rubber and other industries, with core advantages of energy saving, stability and fully automatic operation.
Most mainstream nitrogen generators on the market adopt Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology, completing gas separation based on the selective adsorption difference of carbon molecular sieve for oxygen and nitrogen molecules. After purification, compressed air enters the adsorption tower; oxygen is adsorbed by molecular sieve under pressure, and high-purity nitrogen is output smoothly. The molecular sieve automatically and regenerates when decompressed, realizing full-cycle operation without manual supervision and ensuring continuous and stable gas supply.
Nitrogen generators can produce nitrogen with different purity according to usage scenarios: 95%-99.5% purity nitrogen is commonly used for food packaging and preservation; electronics welding and industrial protection require nitrogen with purity above 99.9%; while high-end pharmaceutical and precision chemical industry are suitable for ultra-high purity nitrogen of 99.999%.
Compared with purchasing liquid nitrogen externally, on-site nitrogen generators feature lower cost and more flexible use. It can produce gas immediately after startup, eliminating cumbersome processes and potential safety hazards of transportation and storage. It also can adjust gas consumption on demand to reduce resource waste. In daily use, maintaining the air purification system and checking the state of molecular sieve regularly can ensure long-term stable operation of the equipment and extend its service life.
